Never heard of the first three (sorry, guess I'd better look them up), the last two are excellent. Some of mine are Husker Du, Replacements, Buffalo Tom, Superchunk, Paranoid Lovesick, the Jellybricks, Tori Amos, and lately, Cursive and the Cribs.
Paranoid Lovesick were local, and friends of mine. The lead guitarist died suddenly at 34 y.o. in 2003.    Two of the guys are in a band I'm going to see tonight.

ya, I've had some local fav's too. Friends. One was Morphine. Lead singer, Mark "the" Sandman. Died of a massice heart attack onstage back in 2003. he was 50
