An angel descended,
A dream, thought for sure.
Speaking my language,
Lovingly pure!
Her skin touched by moonglow,
Like silk to the feel.
As stars fall from heaven,
This just can't be real.
Her hair weaved from satin,
The color of night.
Her smile from rainbow
To chase away fright.
The pools of her eyes,
Capture my soul,
Searching me inward,
Wanting to know!
Her heart beats a tune
That captivates me,
Arousing the feelings
I'd rather let be.
The song that she sings,
Thus hastens my heart,
Beckons my soul,
Come out of the dark!
My angel, my gift!
