What I am thinking is like some people seem to go all out for making a
picture for this site and other seem to put no effort into it. So which
do you prefer?

I personaly like something more in the middle. I want to see who you
are and not a glammor shot. But if you go to the exteme the other way it
is a turn off as well. Sitting in front of the computer without even
trying to look nice just seems lazy. If I had a web camera I would try
to get a pic with it posted but I would put some effort into atleast
getting a pic of me infront of the fish tanks(to the side of the
computer). I am going to town in the morning to try and find a flashless
camera and then get some pics made so I will have one to post. I kind of
got an idea of what I am going to try and do but it is awful shady down
by the creek. So please give your opinions as to over/under doing it and
should you really try to express more than your looks(like
hobbies/interest).

um, do you find it at all ironic that you don't have a picture?

my reason for not having one as of today.

you know, you could like, um,turn the flash off, close your eyes
perhaps.

I think there are many solutions to your "problem".

Do you find it annoying looking at like a computer screen too? You know
you are looking at a lightbulb right?

Yes my computer and tvs are set with the bright very low because of my
eyes. Some dark movies like The Others and such I have to turn the
bright up to watch them. Most guest complain about the house being dark.
The shades are never opened.

No I did not "freak out" but I can not understand why someone would
post what you did unless they did not read the post. I never post
without reading the whole post and many times will not post unless I
read the whole thread.

Paterafan, Your pic is what I like to see for the most part. You show
yourself and not what others would want you to be. But you have your
hair brushed and clothes on unlike many pics on here.

I am into heavy metal as well. I prefer the older stuff like Black
Sabbath and Metalica.

this is me.heck with all the lights and just get to the beach with the
sun shining.gotta love the sun.pictures are important.i want to no who
is chatting.it is bad enough i have to type to people who don`t really
no me,but it is worse if i can`t see them.just throw a picture up.

I like a snap shoot picture the best. But they all look good to me.

I took a few today once the sun came out. I am going to a local place I
like to go in the morning and plan on taking a few more. Then I will
finish the film and it takes a few days to get the pics and CD back. So
I am working on it, honestly I am. So yall with be able to put my face
with my words soon enough.

What Type of pic/icon/catch phrase I display usually depends on what
kind of mood I'm having that day..

I like looking on profiles and seeing the different pics... It's a
reflection of that persons interests and likes... and the self pics I
would have to say I prefer the ones that don't look too posed.....More
natural.. and the people who take the funny ones of themselves show that
they have a teriffic sense of humor so much they can even have fun
making themselves laff.

so, when you see me.. you will see every side of me..

I like real pics. I like to see who I'm talking to. That means I don't
want a glam shot and I don't want artwork. Just be yourself.
