This illusion of love seemed very real
Now I am trying to let my heart heal
The love we once had was it all a façade?
The way that it ended was really not odd.

My love just pretended everything was ok
Then very suddenly moved out one day.
A lover that lies makes you feel so betrayed
You want to forget them and go out get laid.

Beware of the deceivers they break your heart
It gives ‘em some pleasure & think they’re smart
Why be such a coward or selfish I ponder?
It just makes no sense making me wonder

Why not be honest and just tell me the truth?
Even if you have to do it from a telephone booth
Don’t treat me like this I did nothing to you
I deserved so much better than the things you’d do.

I’m glad you are gone now I refuse to feel sad
You didn’t love me and treated me very bad.
Karma may get you as we reap what we sow
But you really hurt me in case you don’t know.
