So I have been talking to a girl and I like her but every time I tell her I like her she says no you dont? why is that?

So I have been talking to a girl and I like her but every time I tell her I like her she says no you dont? why is that? Why don't you just ask her why she responds that way instead of asking a bunch of people who know neither of you? But, from one of those, whenever I've responded that way it's either because 1) I want him to prove it, or 2) he doesn't really know me and just assumes he likes me without really knowing who I am. well i cant speak for her, but i know that whenever someone tells me they like me like that, i want them to prove it and not just say it. and if they say it without really knowing me i will assume they just want one thing....not saying you are like that, thats just been my experience...but good luck!
