So my pal tells me this place next to the big chicken is having a going out of business sale. He saw it as he was driving by and said we should check it out later.

So we go today and it turns out the place is really cool. It has a bunch of video-games, dvds, tapes, cd's, and COMIC BOOKS!!!! And the best part is they're only 50 cents each. I've been an avid comic book reader since the 3rd grade and still enjoy my collection to this day. I have over 4 huge boxes full of comics.

So I bought a bunch of old Rob Liefeld X-Force stuff and a few other random titles. I actually got quite a lot. I bought 18 comics for 4.50.

So are there any other closet comic geeks here?

Hey I'm not a comic book geek, but my sister is a colorist for Marvel comic books. She is the one that puts the color on the pages and shades and highlights them. She has been doing this for over 10 years. It is all done on her Mac

why does one need to "grow out of it" as one matures??

She is now colorint mostly for DC But she did a lot of Dr. Strange, Ghost Rider, House of Sectets, Sandman Mystery Theater, Spiderman the Lost Years,Black Lightning, Superboy, Shadow Hawk, Star Wars. They have a web site at www.Heroic Age Studios.com This has a lot of what they have done. They have done lots of Archie books. They have done some Disney. They are doing mostly kids books now.

I LOVE comic books. =) I have a bunch of old comics from the 70s - 90s and just started collecting Zenescope comics. They are all well written with great artwork. Its because of comics that I learned to draw.

BTW Otherthen me - Does anyone know what the VERY first thing Batman said when he first saw Catwoman?
