unless they into puzzle solving and questing
these games arent suitable for them
esecially final fantasy, cause you have to truly think and quest alot

Pokemon however is a good starter role playing game

The Phoneix Wright games might be ok for her, its just finding clues and yelling about it in court. Its cool cause you can shout "objection!" into the microphone and it appears onscreen laugh

I usually buy the E for everything games and remember to checkout the local pawnshops,Gamestop , e-bay and movie rental places for used games which you can usually pickup cheaper than stores.

I kinda disagree with the games mentioned..I know this topic's really old but at the same time, Bratz and other shallow games aren't going to entertain anyone, not even kids.

Final Fantasy games have you slowly moving your character in a medieval/fantasy setting with unique characters and a mature storyline. The battles are usually turn-based, which means you have time to think about what you'll do but there's usually no pressure. It's perfect for curious kids and seasoned, older gamers too.

Sonic Rush and Rush Adventure are fast paced, light-hearted action games. If you remember Sonic, he's a blue hedgehog that runs and jumps and beats up evil machines to put it simply! XD

Tetris DS is an awesome puzzle game. It's entertaining with a bunch of Nintendo characters as themes, and it's good ol' Tetris!

Other good ones are:

Pokemon
Animal Crossing: Wild World
Super Mario 64 DS

Wario Ware is fun and easy. If she likes animals there are a lot of fun games like pet vet, hamsterz, horsez, catz, dogz, nintendogs. My daughter likes all of these. You don't have to go for only DS games either, it also uses Game Boy Advance games, you can't use the stylus with them though.
