What is the fastest speed you clocked in your car?
RULES: 1) No racetracks allowed. Speed must be set whilst breaking the law. 2)State make and model of car, engine capacity, year of manufacture and if modified/standard. 3)Speed must be shown in both mph and kph ( or nearest ). 4) State speed zone limit you were on at the time. Optinal rule: State whether you were sober/drunk/ on drugs etc. I guess i will go first to set the example. Skoda Fabia/ 1396cc/ 2001/ standard. Speed= 115mph/184kph. Speed limit= 50mph/80kph. Sober Safety: Always wear your seatbelt and be considerate of other road users!!!!! |

I'll share!
Philadelphia PA, I-76 Hyundai Sonata (rented), V6 automatic. Speed - 140 mph Limit - 55 Not exactly sober Felt the car start to lose contact with the road and begin to glide more, upwards of 125. Had to brake like crazy to keep from slamming into the next car in front of me when I caught up with them. Almost lost control of the car. It was kinda scary. I was also young and stupid then. I suppose I still might be, but I for sure wouldn't do that again. |
