Write her back and see if you and she can become e-mail or telephone friends. If true love comes about maybe the traveling thing will work out. Just a suggestion.

Maybe she just thought you were unwilling to travel? Did you explain why you couldn't travel? I don't know if it was a lot of milage, but if you think about it...she would be responcible for doing ALL of the traveling. Then she probably thought she would have to spend all of the money for the gas. All of the financial responcibility would fall on her...maybe that is why it scared her off?
Maybe you need to talk to her and find out exactly what scared her off. Any more with gas prices, I think a lot of people are hurting financially. So if you travel a lot, thats going to hit you hard in the check book!! Maybe you should offer to help pay the way?? |
