Awakening

Yesterday, was just a dream,
I wonder now so it would seem,
I wonder when the things I see,
Of life and love will soon find me.

I seek the love we all do share,
I know it now and so I care.
Of how this thing of love can find,
One like me, of like mind.

And feel them now, and if they last.
I see the things that are to pass,
I'll give my heart my soul and love,
To one I may see, led from above.

The things that I feel, my soul today,
Of being alone have drifted away.
I have found a spark inside,
To start an inferno that some would hide.

To burn a torch of love to gain,
I’m willing to suffer through the pain.
To find a thing so true and dear,
I feel the things from one that’s near.

The strength of seven, five or none,
Two halves equal becoming one.
The path to seek upon the way,
To share my love, my heart and stay.

With the one that is meant for me,
I search my soul of who she’ll be.
I seek to find this friend I must,
I search for love and not for lust.

The passions I share unlike the rest,
