What is your new years resolution that you may actually keep...say
after two months....?

ie. I go to any Gym January packed!!!
I keep going....end of Feb the same souls that I always see..

I actually keep my new years resolutions!!

I am honest and reliable with eveeryone else...so why not MYSELF to!? I use to think, well it's just me I am letting down so its ok. Then I really thought about that! That was really bad! So I had to take myself out to the parking lot and kick my own ass!

From that day I started treating myself as I did others..like a REAL PERSON!

Jan 1, 2006 resolution..stop smoking. Jan 1 2008.. STILL NOT ONE CIG! And don;t miss them at all now!

So just a little post to tell people...You make a promise..then KEEP IT! Even if it is to yourself!

YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

Hey np...glad you have the will of a mule and the honesty of something.... the rest may not be so lucky.
I think you are right, but its hard to break old habits and I feel that people should not feel guilty and hope better for next year.

Oh, please don;t get me wrong..I'm not condemming anyone! Just saying "be true to yourself" too. Its very easy for ALL of us (including myself) to be "reliable" for everyone else, but put ourselves as a "lesser than" others.

So my post was just to encourage people to do it for themselves. Sorry if it came across wrong!

I am going to make my New Year's Resolutions really simple, so I cannot fail to stick to them.

Things like 'looking at a dog', or 'holding a spoon'. Simple stuff.
