Topic: Spam and fake profiles

I’ve been on here for a week and I would say 99% of what people I talk to are fake. I’m curious what is being done to prevent fake profiles. How do you tell a real from a fake for some of these are good and lead you to believe they are a real person.

if they ask for money than that's a fake profile or ask for nudes I guess

Take them with a pinch of humour, like Robin does Seriously, if you encounter anything odd, any questionable or suspicious profile, the "Report" button is your first port of call.

The thing is most social platforms today have a lot of fake profiles and scammers. It's not just these dating sites and a majority of them are terrible enough as is. Even this site is pretty garbage after only using it for a few mins. I've encountered many fake profiles from various sites and it's really starting to become a problem at this point.

I totally agree. My favorite ones are when they appear to be safe you’ve done some vetting and then they ask you for something after talking to them for an hour in chat. I think I might be going to the bars to meet people or even a coffee shop go back to old school I can see their face .
