I don't see any threads that really invite people who identify as witches. Witch is a designation with many varied definitions and holding deep cultural influences.
There are many types of self identifying witches. Solitaires, hedge. green, wiccan, culturally specific, chaos, spontaneous, herbal, healing, and Goddess knows many more.
i am a medium and tarot reader. i have been a spiritual teacher for many years. I have known many witches, some of whom don't even know they are. I do not believe in evil, have never encountered an evil spirit. I do believe in twisted, damaged and unable to love persons. this can certainly express as evil. it is such an "evil" term.
You are welcome to your own definition. Here is mine: a witch is a person who has from a young age been aware of extra sensory impressions all around them.
A witch is a lover of the earth and has an affiliation with the feminine part of the Creatrix. A witch is life affirming and practices in some way the rule, "harm none".
I could go on and one, but to hang with me, one does not have to have a specific label or religious in the traditional sense. I wish to discuss esoteric matters, traditions and practice in an open listening and talking environment. One has to accept my designation of a spontaneous green witch. I promise I will accept yours as long as it is positive and earth centered in some way.

Hello, Sister! I’m an “eclectic” witch. In that, I don’t mind borrowing from many different traditions for my practice. I am empathic. Energy (vibes) mean everything to me.
I believe that magic is energy that the scientists haven’t “nailed down” yet. And, my younger brother, who is a scientist, agrees with me.
I’m a positive person. I’m generous and I enjoy helping people. Sure, I’ve been used; but, it’s better to try than not.
I love learning new things, reading about any and all traditions, and practicing what “feels good” to me.
Yes, the Earth is alive and gets my respect, love, and devotion. As do the Divine Feminine, Spirits, and Fae. I’m unfettered of Christianity.
I’ve been a teacher, mentor, priestess, etc. I am at ease with or without an audience. I invite others to many “open” rituals throughout the year; and, invite others to use my property to hold their own public rituals.
