Wow! I've been on here for awhile. I didnt know there were real people until I found the forums. The only messages I have ever received are from Frauds. Anyone near Black Mountain, NC? You are so right. I’ve only been here a week,only found 2 real people. I check the profiles, it’s so easy to spot the fakes. The prose, spelling and use of outdated , “Dear” or “Handsome” I then found 2 profiles that I knew had to be real people, I txt them, they replied and I was correct both times! If you see a message that says anything that is flowery,, desperate or submissive, it is almost certainly fake. All the Women I have known were, strong, Independance and definetly would not be writing profiles in the style of a badly written Bodice ripper, set in the 18th century, which is what you will find here! |

Welcome to the forums. Can anyone advise on how to set email restrictions to restrict the rubbish coming through? The app looked pretty good with some promising matches before I loaded a photo, but now it's gone to hell with 99% random likes - albeit some of them very amusing! |

You can do that here https://mingle2.com/inbox/filters Please note that email filters stops you receiving certain emails only and will not prevent anyone from matching or liking you. Edited to add….it would be better if you uploaded your own pic otherwise others will just see you as a scammer. |
