something I wrote many years ago.so long ago but still true.
to be secure in life and love to have the grace of god above to have a wife to comfort me to have a child apon my knee to have all these and nothing more how could any man be poor for if I had these to comfort me no richer man could there ever be. |

It would be my deep desire to see a poem such as this a reality. But that was true back in the 50's in the present your on your knees working 2 jobs and your wife is working too. political as I may sound I do remember a time in America when the poem would ring true , what happened to this great country?
