I think everyone is not looking at the good points of being single!! I have been single since July of 04, trust me..there are a lot of good reasons to be single!! I do believe you have to get to that point to where you are happy with everything in your life and then you don't mind the single thing at all.
I myself am very content with my life. I am at the point to where I can honestly say..I don't NEED a man in my life, I WANT one~~there is a big difference!! Right now at this point, I do not want a relationship even. I just want friends, and those friends do not include any kind of benefits!! Maybe its because I just got over a serious illness, cancer, and the last thing I need in my life is drama. I think its just time for me to kick back and relax and enjoy what I have!! I call this "my time to do what I want." Trust me, if you are single..don't panic, the right one will come along when you least expect it!!!

true..but maybe its just me...but i genuinely enjoy sharing moments (from mundane housework/chores, to intimate situations) with that significant other....Id rather much 'share' myself. [/quote) She is probably right around the corner, with quotes like this you sound like you know the right stuff to move forward to start again. Its been a year, so look with your heart open to love someone, and someone will be there to love. When I can't be in a relationship, I spend time helping othets, it fills me too. I miss the closenss of sharing intimacy and passion. But truly, I MISS those really good midnight philosophical dicussion on life, when I can't sleep. They're out there somewhere we'll find them...
