Hello,

This concerns the APP on ios 12.5.5, when I open the App on Ipad 2 Mini it gives me a message that cannot be cancelled to Update the APP, I cannot use it otherwise.

When I press the UPDATE button it opens up the APP store to dowload the latest App version 3.5.0 but it will not install because it requires ios 13.

Ios 13 is nto available for my Device.

And the App Store will not install any other compatible apps the following message keeps coming up :

"Download and older version of this app?

the current version requires IOS 13.0 or newer, but you can download the last compatible version.

Cancel, Download "

When I press Download the message keeps coming back again and again nothing downloads.

Mingle2 App is unusable now.

I will try to remove completely and reinstall and see if that works.

Reinstalling from scratch does not help.

Once the APP is installed I will get the "Good news" (Bad news) message asking me to update and once in the APP store the same Loop happens.

So now I can only access through web browser I guess.

I don’t think you will resolve the problem without purchasing a new iPad.

I had much the same problem a few years back using the fullsite version on my iPad. As you know, Apple stops the iOS updates once they deem your device is obsolete therefore they will no longer be supported by Apple. There’s no way round this sadly.

I eventually purchased a new iPad and it looks like that’s going to be your only option. Not just to be able to use the Mingle2 app but for other apps also as they too, at some point, will require the latest iOS (currently 15.4.1) to run at optimum level.

Thank you, for the reply.

I think I will go with and Android Tablet next time maybe the Samsung Tab 7 instead I am pretty fed up with IPad limitations anyways.

I deleted the APP and using a browser in meantime appreciate the replies.

Cheers
