Okay, you hear the stories about men and mail order brides... has anyone ever heard about women and mail order husbands? AND, would you ever consider a mail order spouse?

i looked at it just out of curiousity cuz i've heard all these stories too. their damned exensive, probably to make sure your rich or something. i've also heard alot of them don't last very long at all.
mail order husbands i've seen on those same sites. and no i would never consider it,i have i hard enough time considering internet dating let alone internet marriage. |

There is a website where you can really buy a hubsand or wife? I thought that was just a joke that people made up. Didn't think that occurred in todays society

funny part is, some of those websites have "financing available"

I have heard of both, en no no no. En if you knew some of the storied behind these mail order programs...expecially in Asia en the Slavic countries...you would not either. It is a death trap for alot of girls en guys.

Actually i know of a few couples who have had mail order wives one couple have been married since the ealy 1980's and they're still going strong.

It seems a little risky to make that sort of commitment too quickly. Maybe a 30-day free home trial is in order.

it's not all bad ! my buddy meet his wife this way , and they been happy for the last 5yrs . i thought he was joking but he fooled me ! she is asain and a very nice person , im happy for them !
 come on he's 5'8" and 400 pound's and she is 5'5" short and skinny ! they are happy and that's all that matter's ! at least they have some one !

I think no on both counts. Not in matter of the relationship en not in matter of subsidizing a growing market that is hurting people for the sake of a dollar.

Buying people is wrong. En to buy them because of their countries economic status because they need to get the heck out of there...is wrong also. On the other side of the coin...if you do it to save a life which is often more the case...then, that is another topic all together.

i've seen it too..but would i consider it? nope. The reason? i want to marry someone i like...not just physically i already made that mistake once.

Yeah, a lot of those "brides" are simply looking for a ticket to get into the US or a western civilization country. Once they have citizenship they get divorced.
Sometimes it works. I have a friend who is good friends (didja follow that) with a couple - he's US born and she's from the Philippines. They've been married for about a dozen years now from what I hear and it's going terrific. |
