I feel like these days it's harder to make new friends. Ironically for me it was easier meeting people and making friends in my twenties than it is in my forties. Who has time really with work, families, and obligations... And are these friendships u make as an older adult even as genuine. I think maybe they are just different and u meet people with a different mindset. I find myself longing for an outside bond/friendship outside of my family/marriage. Not necessarily a sexual one but just a bond of some sort. Anyone else feel this way?

Yes, I find it very hard to make new friends. I moved to a new state 6 months ago, and I'm an introvert too, so that doesn't help. At least I'm near my sister though, and have my dog.
