OKLAHOMA!!
Where men are men, women are women...and sheep are NERVOUS!!! (spent most of my life there...started at Briarglen Elementary in Tulsa, graduated Union High School..had a house in Broken Arrow (they never fixed it), before moving to CA in Sept,2003..so I am at least "qualified" to speak about Oklahoma!) |

Was that about the condition of the streets? because you CAN'T be lost in Tulsa!!! It is THE easiest city I've ever been in to get around. |

the ease of finding streets is not the problem. they just suck for driving on.

I do miss Tulsa for the street layouts...VERY EASY to navigate! I'm in California..and I can get lost in a freaking parking lot! I can see the store, but have to make 15 freakin turns to get there, passing 3 three-way stops from funky angles, you never know who has the "right of way"...its NUTZ here! Just avoid 71st street from Hwy 169 past Woodland Hills Mall. Oh, but I still have to give the "RUBBERNECKER" award to Tulsa. Damm person on the OTHER SIDE of the highway could be just changing a tire and your side slows down to 10 mph to see what's going on, backing up traffic for MILES! |

I'm not from there either...but have lots of family....I've got 8 uncles...and 2 aunts...my g-pa and all sorts... And all belong to my mom's family yet LOL...ya'll aint bad down there...but I will say..the streets are a bit confusing...now up here in K-town Wisconsin..thats the easiest place to get around...all avenues and streets only...streets go one way ...avenues the other...can't get lost here....Laters folks....

I'm from Los Angeles, which has plenty of accidents and cars with stupid drivers, and yet I find myself yelling in my car more here in OK than any other time or place in my life! And I've driven on the 5 by Six Flags at closing time. |

Yeh agreed there..thats why I have always missed back there..the people are "genuine" in most cases, especially the "old school" types (like the way I was raised there) But they need to learn NOT to slow down when its happening on the OTHER side of the freakin highway! BTW..who won the championship between Union and Jenks??? |
