PETA....People for the Eating of Tasty Animals

I don't understand why omnis feel the need to go into a thread that's clearly for the (apparently few) vegetarians on the site and make snarky comments. It's not appreciated.

It is a way for them to feel good about themselves....put others down to make them feel important

I guess... but it's annoying! I don't go around making a big deal about what they eat (even though I think it is kindof grotesque..)

i don't, either.

everywhere, all the time...people stick their tongues out with their meat-filled food falling out...they tell loud stories of their hunting conquests...

they point out how "yummy" their din-din is...try to shove it in your face...

we had a chili cookoff at my office a few weeks ago, and I made some excellent veggie chili! And some arse made a huge deal about how it wasn't real chili because it didn't have meat, and he wouldn't try it! Of course, he was also making a huge deal about his hunting conquest and all of this stuff... And he was like, "I didn't climb to the top of the food chain to eat vegetables!" And I wanted to say something snarky -- but I didn't. I was proud of myself. But I could have said a mouthful. grumble
