Has anyone kept one of these? And if so, is there anyone you know "qualified"bigsmile to tell you if your dreams fall into any type of "catagory?

I am going to start one. I have very vivid dreams, but with very strange types of situations and to any type of "logical" ways of thinking, they can go off the chart.

So I am interested in finding out if anyone has done this and who might know of anyone qualified to give a reasonable opinion. bigsmile

Hey Dan,

I usually remember most of my dreams when I wake up, but as usual forget them to an extent as the day progresses.

It is extremely rare for me to have any types of "nightmares" (maybe one every 5 years) but I have tons of really "strange" dreams. things that make no sense what so ever.

One example. A dream I had, I remember being in an old fashioned automobile mechanics garage. There were two mechanics in the old gray type overalls. One was Sid Ceasar and the other Abe Bagoda. Now these are people who I never think about, nor have I seen in many many years even on TV. Also, there was a "grease pit" filled with water and my brothers old cocker spaniel was at the bottom barking under water.

So that's totally WIERD to me. Not scary, just STRANGE. Why would my subconscience bring up things that I have not thought of in eons, nor what is taking place in the dreams make any sort of sense????

I have always had a very vivid imagination. Even my conscience state my mind loves to take ideas and just hit them from every angle. Nor can I stop my mind from thinking and just make it "shut down" so I can relax. My body can be completely exhausted, but my mind is crystal clear and runs and runs. I have to take Actifed, because the antihystimine makes me "droggy" and then I can fall asleep..I have had to do this since I was about 15, otherwise I am up for at least 2 days or can be 3. But I don;t even try to fight with it now, I just tale the Actifed and go to sleep.

So since you said you are qualified...what do you make of such a thing? Is this "normal"???

huh What are your qualifications?

Please...dreams are not something to mess with... if you are not a trained psychologist, or a therapist specialising in dream interpretation... don't make claims.

As to the OP. You can interpret your own dreams, as you develop a history of them.

Also keep a daily log, of what you are exposed to, with tv, movies, conversations, moods, feelings.

Then and only then after a few months, compare the two, the Dream log, and the daily log, and see if there is a correlation.

YOU are the only one who can interpret dreams, no one else...others can merely suggest things...

Don't mess with the Dreamtime.

Thanks for the input. But thats why I am asking. I have already tried to determine a "pattern" over the last couple of years. But NOTHING is "consistant". It's a changeup almost every night. At rare times it may be a continuation of the previous nights dream, but that is rare.

Again, mine are not "scary" by any means..just STRANGE! They make no logical kind of sense. From the people/things/events in them, nothing has predictable patterns.

MAYBE it may be my mind wanting to be "illogical", since my entire conscoius time is spent on mostly "logical" levels.

But I wanted to see if I could get some other "opinions" from someone who has experience in such a subject matter. happy
