For Me there was no loved lost
...only gained

Kissed...one
Cuddled...one
But dated...no one

I've moved
I've gained knowledge
Lost weight

It's been a long year
With happiness
and Sadness
With anger
and contentment
With hurt
and Kindness

I do not regret a thing
Enjoyed what I could
I do thank God for 2007

However I am not sad to see it end
For I feel
In my optimism
That
2008
Will be wonderfully great

I KNOW I'll be reconnecting with friends
Making new ones
Gain more knowledge
Lose more weight

I know...
I'll have sadness
But I pray and feel
I'll have more happiness

I pray for new experiences
Maybe
Even a date or two

Will this be the year
That is the
"Start of Something New"
I don't know

But God will be there
To lead me on my way

And to this I'll end
This silly little poem/prayer (LOL???)

oh I know my friend and I are counting down to new years...we're applying back to cp then...though I technically don't have to...and lol I'm hoping that it will be a mute point anyway because of a job promotion to something beyond seasonal...yes this year is showing some promise
