Topic: Matched with everyone in the United States?? | |
---|---|
I spent about 4-5 hours just matching with people and now its saying there are no more candidates in the area, I have it set to any distance and 18-100.. I'm- confused?

I did a search using the same parameters you did and I got 10000+ matches!
Don’t place too much emphasis on the Match game as many don’t play it. Try sending messages instead. |

I actually have about 151 pages in my mail, (I'd say maybe 1% of them are real people?) Most people don't typically respond. I do try to make most of my messages unique to the person too, not like a paragraph but I do take the time to think about what to say.
Edit: I know that means over 2200 people I've messaged, which might be kinda sad actually, but I try not to give up.. still though, 2200 people is a lot of people |

Now some wee advise from me.
Only message people who are active in the forums, as scammers won't bother posting on a regular base. And set filters on who can contact you, to be found in your profile settings/mail settings. |

I usually ghost around in the forums if I get bored of messaging or matching. I don't really post anything since I don't have much to say, but I recognize most people that do post in the forums. I have messaged a couple people who've posted here but I usually get no reply haha, maybe I'm too young for them?

As it was mentioned already, Mutual Match is only a wee game, nothing to be taken serious
And there is so many different topics in the forums, sure there is something interesting for everybody |

I'm using the phone and I don't see a setting for filters on emails. Can this be done only by laptop?

RJNG, you should maybe only message people who live near you.
