My granny was insulin dependant and would make cookies with sucryl .......it was vomitus.......can you say projectile vomitus???

You should watch what you eat if your insulin dependant... yeah but i still keep it managed.i know how much sugar i can have without getting my bloodsugar high |

it isnt controlled too well. take lantus twice a day and humalog 3-6 times depending on my levels

well i take between 5-8 units of Humalog when i get up and between 10-15 units of Lantus before i go to bed.i used to be on 4 shots a day but i had to cut myself down because it was keeping my bloodsugar way too low

you should qualify for an insulin pump.have you ever talked to the dr about it?.they told me mine wasn't out of control enough for one

getting an appointment with an endocrinologist my insurance covers is like expecting a miracle. been waiting 8 months so far

8.6 isnt really high......Ive seen some who were 30 or more....

for what i was a year ago. and i am on large doses of insulin. still out of control. those people were probably not on medicine. i average 100 units total of humalog a day and i take 98 units of lantus in the morning and 85 at night

not long ago i had been in the hospital for some reason and after being there for 3 days,they checked my bloodsugar and for some reason it was 500!.i have no clue how it was that high because i had been eating the food they provided,i took my insulin when they brought it,they kept tabs on my bloodsugar...etc and i felt fine too.only thing i can think of was my nerves caused it

yea stress makes it worse. i was induced early with my youngest baby because my levels were real bad and causing complications

Dont trust hospitals......when I was there having my son, I specifically said to not give me anything citrus, like orange juice or oranges or orange pop.......so what do they give me??? fukcing orange juice!!!
