What do you think?

I was actually shocked when I found out she was pregnant. You figured she would have learned from her sister's mistakes. I do put a lot of the blame on her pareants though. With good parenting, these kinds of things usually don't happen.

she is 16 and says it is her boyfriend's baby. dont know what the show will do. disney reacted pretty well to vanessa hudgens nude pics so maybe jamie's show will be ok. dont care.

her mom, when she found out, called a magazine and negotiated a $1 million deal for rights to the story and first baby photos. not exactly a normal mom's reaction to a pregnant teen. and her book was a CHRISTIAN parenting book, too. obviously on hold.

These things do happen, even to the best of kids with great parents. But, you do have to wonder what kind of parent allows their underage daughter to date an adult? Considering Britney, the mom can't have possibly thought she had anything to say, except for what not to do.

And possibly she's the victim of a pedophile. If that's the case, I can't imagine how she's feeling having that piece of information paraded around in the media. If it had been anyone else, considering she's a minor, she would have been protected in the media. If it's true, I truly feel sorry for her.

personally i think i would die if i was in her shoes. i know people that got preg. at a young age and really couldnt handle it. and they wernt even followed by the media 24/7. i feel sorry for her but if she didnt want that **** to happen then she wouldnt have had sex in the first place. does she think that celebrities have superpowers and it cant happen to them just like paris hilton or lindsay lohan thought nothing could happen to them; i mean, come on now.

Isn't her boyfriend 18? C'mon, 16 y/o's have been having sex for thousands of years & 2 years age differance isn't such a big deal. And btw, pedophilia refers to sex with children not teenagers and besides, 16 is within the age of consent in most states;^]

f that age of consent thing, you guys use it as a ploy, 16 yr olds don't know what they are getting themselves into and anyone fooling with a girl that age should know that it could wreck their lives, but they obviously don't care.

Nonsense, most 16 y/o's know fully well what they're doing, rape would be a differant story or if I had sex (me being 29) with a 16 y/o it might be a differant story. But I have yet to meet a 16 y/o who doesn't understand the concept of sex. The whole issue anyway is whether there should be legal ramifications, which there seems to be no reason for. Honestly we all should mind our own business though I say;^]

I can understand that, but as a mother wouldn't you agree that the more important thing would be to make sure the baby is well cared for?;^]

True, but at the same time that's life, you make mistakes & the only thing you can do is make the best of it. Taking it out on the father does no good unless he does the coward thing & runs away. You should look up lyrics to the Damian Marley song "For The Babies", I think you'd like it;^]

AMEN TO THAT!!! Its HER LIFE and simply HER BUSINESS. At least she is taking responsibility for HER ERROR except to ME having a baby is NO ERROR. Its a blessing!

I have to agree with Barbiesbigsister. It's a blessing and she has her mom or others she can pay to help give her some free time. Maybe she'll take some parenting classes. She seems like a smart girl, I think she is taking responsiblity and coming out to the public early on. I also think a 16 year old is fully responsible for her sexual decisions. According to the news she's dated him for close to 3 years. How can that be rape?
