I am in no way apposed to the people who choose to take part in relgions. I only wonder how people can beleive in something so much that they discriminate against other people who are slightly different. amoungst the beleivers of different sects there is so much anger over beliefs when all the religions are practically speaking the same thing anyways. Like treat everyone equally as god would. Yet certain types of people are not even aloud to be part of their church because they believe themselves now gods and that judgment is up to all of them(example:Mormans) I wont get on my knees for a god that has never given me anything good or hopeful even once in my life. How many people beleive that the bible is nothing more than a novel?

Before you make snap decisions on any religion or belief maybe you should investigate it properly? For example the "Mormons" do NOT believe themselves to be gods. Only those who listen to gossip and ridicule believe they do.

I spent many years in a morman church and longer in their community, I know exactly what they beleive. Judgement is for GOD. so then they that do it must think there gods.

I say pity those that are to afraid to die and need there little bed time storys to ease their fear. or maybe im rash and that beleif makes there life beautiful. no matter who you are or what you beleive in religion of anykind or science even down to darwinism. no one knows WHY-where here.Where we came from. and what is going to happen. If someone out there does know tell me who created your god? who or what created the heavens our earth floats around in.

Truly funny are your assumptions, you beleive what you will. Since you have a belief that they THINK they are gods you have made the statement as you did. That is GOSSIP in its true form. If you pass it on as this YOU have once again added to the GOSSIP AND ridicule that gets people like me upset.

i am truely sorry i do have many morman friends. some at the churches though are the worst people I have ever met. Cant judge a crowd by a few. I just signed in also I wasnt aware of that rule. thank you for telling me. i guess when you get to see heaven i wont be there to meet you.

Two things popped out at me here. First Jayboy you're questioning those who judge, yet seem to be judging? I realize every one has to think to some degree to have an opinion; however, I'm not very clear on what your's is......

I guess to feel shamed of those people that look at others and automatically hate them because of there apearance is judgmental. my opinion on those i speak of is'nt first glance though I've known and watched them for many years. I do hate the racsists and homophobes that the church breeds here, I am no better then them to judge them for there reasonless hate, than they are to hate for no reason.

Take in note, these people do not represent all religion or even all of their church. I know that. I have no ill favor for the holy that worship respectfully.

my point is the bishops and preachers say love everyone in mass. then twenty minuets after the sermon is over talk about the new guy that lives in the ward boundries while useing the words Fa&&ot mexican or some other ****ed up things.

Thank you for clarifying your position. Yes, hypocrites can be annoying; however, at the same time, seeing it in real life and experiencing it can give you a basis of what you don't want for yourself or your children. With that said, you can only change and pay attention to yourself and your own actions. Oh and yes, I do think the world would be a better place without the hypocrisy, but it will not end the emotions behind it. Maybe that would be a better place to start, hmmmmm.

I try to live without the guidlines of this religion is better than that one. you know. I am not religouse. but I am spiritual and all beleifs have the same basic morals, follow them without fallowing the crowd and hope to be saved i guess

In answer to your statement of breeding? That is laughable at best, by your statements it seems you know enough about the "Mormon" faith to make some assumptions. I by no means support the "Mormon" faith however I do support the rule of honesty and as a result I will help some to understand different philosophies as I am able to.

I have been to enough different churches to hear that same language from just about all of them, and as a result I consider myself neutral.

Here's a thought for ya -- If you follow the good aspects of how to behave as a human - what would you have to be saved from? Would you not in essence saved yourself already? I am thinking in writing here/out loud.

some times i think i will die and everything will go black there is no grand scheme to things like being knocked out. some people say what is there to live for. I say you are allready liveing what is there to wait for.

There are many people in this would who can only dream of living in Idaho USA. If they could be transferred from their current situation into your life they would feel like they had died and went to heaven.

They say that life is what you make it. Obviously clichés can be quite meaningless to those who are having serious physical problems, or who live in oppressed situations beyond their control. Many people are stuck in seriously grave situation with no hope in sight.

I don’t know what your life is like. You appear to be fairly healthy, you’re 6 ft tall, handsome, playing video games, reading, writing, going hiking, camping, and into music. Sounds to me like you’ve been blessed with a pretty nice situation in this life. I don’t understand how you can say that God has never given you anything good or hopeful even once in life.

Exactly what would it take to make you happy?

I’m not passing judgment. I’m just curious. What exactly is it that you want and that you couldn’t obtain yourself by putting out a little effort of your own?

There are many doors of opportunity out there. Are you knocking? Seek and ye shall find.

By the way, I’m not a religious person and I don’t believe in the Bible. Wisdom like “seek and ye shall find” has been around long before the Bible. This is just common sense among sages. There is nothing in the Bible that can’t be known from other sources.

I personally don’t believe in a personal egotistical God who passes judgments on people. That kind of God is an invention of men, and I agree with you that many people who believe in such a God are really just arrogant pigs who use the notion to pass judgments on other.

Maybe it’s this idea of a “Santa Claus” type of God that has you down. You wonder why God doesn’t bestow you with gifts since he has that power. The bottom line is that God is not like that. God already gave you all the gifts you’re gonna git. It’s up to you to appreciate them and use them.

If you want something more in life than you already have. Go knocking! God doesn’t use in Fedex. She just tossed the opportunities out there randomly. It’s up to you do go find them.

That’s why she gave you a brain, your greatest gift of all. Be glad you don’t have dementia or mental illness! Your mental health is your greatest gift of all, and your complaining you were never given anything good or hopeful????



Is what happens to you after you die really important now? If you just black out then you’ll never know the difference so why worry about it? Take no thought of the morrow, the morrow will take care of itself.

All you can ever know is now. It’s what you are doing now that matters.

Moreover, where did you come from? Did a stork bring you and drop you on a rock?

You came out of this universe. You are a part of this universe. You are not a separate entity, you only think you are because you carry your roots around in your tummy. Is air a part of your body? Try living without air and see.

Where does your body stop and the rest of the universe begin?

How can you cease to exist? You are this universe. There was never a time when you were not, and there will never be a time when you will cease to exist. There is no time. Time is an illusion in the ever-changing primordial now.

You aren’t going anywhere when you die. There’s no where to go. There’s nothing else to be. There’s no other time in which to cease to exist.

You make a terrible philosopher. Better stick to music and video games.
