Everybody deserves compassion. It’s not reserved for only the worst possible tragedy. JustKev you might mean well and even have a good solution for Rod, but saying it with love will most likely get your message through and allow him to be open to it.

But then again everyone has a different style so do your thing, just try and soften the edges a bit so he can hear you. ;-)

Ok Im not even going to look at any responses!!! My first thoughts were...........what a whiner!!! And whatever you put out is what you get back........My ex was one of those people......a bachelor for life......most likely because HE cant live with others.....he cant live with humans!!! Maybe you cant either.......go get some phychiatric help now and quit your *****ing!!

Interesting how so many people know just what Rod's situation is and what he needs from one posting on here.

Sometimes a swift kick in the seat of the pants is the answer, sometimes a soft touch and a helping hand is the only way. "Being soft isn't always the answer". True, but neither is being tough.

Just because something works for you doesn't mean it will work with the next person in line. Just because you see things a certain way doesn't mean that is the only way to see them, or that you're even right.

Just because you know how to handle problems and situations doesn't mean everyone else is so-equipped. If Rod knew what to do to fix his situation don't you believe he'd be doing it?? That which is obvious to some is a mystery to others.

We some times reach out to those we do not know: Telling our feelings and hoping to fill a release in those words somehow.

I am sorry you are feeling this way dear. But, please do not blame God for your woes. Your wants and wishes are up to you. If you wish a woman to come into your life and appreciate you; then you must first appreciate yourself.

You must know what you want in order to find that someone. You must be what you want; to be what she wants.

Lighten up and let the fit be loose at first. Don't snag on tight and suffocate. It sounds like to me that you may do just that.

Start over with a clean slate. Be all that you can be.

So you have failed. Haven't we all? Failure doesn't mean death. It means pick yourself up and dust your self off and get on that horse and ride again.
