Im in Iraq for my first Yule alone and im hating every minute of it. I'm wishin i never signed that damn paper, but i thought my country needed me, right. OK, I'm technically challenged, so I will just say this since I cannot quote the ones I want to hug the most.
To the one who started this thread: Welcome to JSH. Please stay with us throughout the day. We're always open, and you are welcome to chime in on any topic and begin as many. To the soldier in Iraq: WE LOVE AND APPRECIATE YOU, SON! *I can say "son," because I'm old! LOL Merry Christmas! To the person alone because of divorce: Hey, it helps to look back and actually try to remember the reasons we got divorced in the first place. Sometimes following a divorce, even a nasty one, we tend to remember only the heart-warming, fuzzy-feeling moments. That's not how it really was. We romanticize our real relationship because we are lonely. Take this time to take care of YOU. Healthy and happy mean a better you for when you do find that special someone. Everyone else lonely? I think that even if we're with family...if your actively searching for your life and love mate you feel lonely on this Christmas...mine has additional feelings because of people I wish were here...
Here's to hoping that 2008 brings all of our heart's desires...Merry Christmas everyone hmmmm feel like a little kid...I just realize that I'm smelling christmas breakfast...I'm laying in bed in my parent's house, feeling like I'm eagerly waiting...I want to see the kids' faces this morning so I'll go and enjoy Christmas LOL and if that made sense to ANYONE  kudos to you... Again wishing you all a Merry Christmas, I know it isn't much comfort if you are truly alone...but know I'm wishing you hope, love, and comfort on this holiday. Blessings to all!!!!
