I work in a video store that sells used general films and NEW adult films. Pretty much 90% of our business is adult movies. Even our billboard has an adult star on it, and this town is very conservative. So it is okay to have just your labret pierced, but you can't have "Snake Bites" (what I currently have pierced). I dunno, I am just on a rant on how stupid it is. I got it covered though, I do have clear retainers, but I just think it is silly. Pretending we are a "family store". I dunno what the owner's deal is, yet I do understand it is his business and he can run it the way he wants to. Anyone else have a story they want to share relevant to this?

my store manager told me last year to dye my hair (ok so at the time i had purple tips) which is stupid bc i know so many people in the company who have tats that show and piercings that idk why my hair color was a concern... i work for walgreens LOL.. but i didnt care so much bc i dye my hair every few months

I would quit but it is a good job to have while I am going to school, as I have benefits, retirement, and assistant manager position with higher pay starting better than a simple job for the county.

Have you ever thought about a job, say maybe cleaning up after monkeys I can pay two fit-y an hr.

nah the manager is cool with it, but the owner has a problem with it. I think because the manager made me ask him. We aren't supposed to even have piercings, no tattoos, and shirts tucked in (according to policy) though one guy has his labret, the manager has tattoos, nobody tucks their shirts in, and I can't have my piercings in. When I asked, I was not the assistant manager at the time. This blows. The swelling in my lip better go down before Wed. LOL
