I actually didn't think it was that scary! I mean it was good.. but not a classic by any means!

Just watched it last night. But must say it was not a bad movie. find Will Smith a great actor. But honestly did not find it scary at all.

Good movie except for the ending.
A woman shows up for the last 15 minutes of the movie leading the zombies to the main character's house who gets killed. She really screwed him and is responsible for him dying... The ending had so much more potential than... "He was a legend for his sacrifice" |

And, believe it or not...but the dude in the book was a white guy with blonde hair and blues eyes...of German decent!!

I'm not. I just thought it was ironic that Will Smith (good actor that he is), portrays the main character which is white. Not prejudice at all! It just shocked me a bit, when I started reading the book!

I like sci fi and I like Will Smith, so I enjoyed the movie. However, that being said....it won't win any academy awards nor will it be on any top ten list for scary flicks. I liked it, but someone who tends to be overly critical of flicks might not. I wish they would have made it about 15 min longer....developed a bit more of a relationship betwixt him and the woman, and showed more interaction with him and the captured zombie. The ending left me a little flat too.

Saw the movie last week. Will Smith is indeed a great actor, but I was expecting more from the movie. It just left me with a sense of "and so?"
Yes, it does have some underlying concepts, but, as far as a movie goes, it's not as good as others around. |
