LOL Honestly, i think we as a people should rule our households, homes, and children ass well as the things that better there lives, NOT allowing our Goverment to tell us whats right or wrong in our homes.. Remember being taught about Tom Solyer & Huckleberry Fin, the values placed on them in life as a child, it was forbidden from our school without asking us as a people. Look at todays world! What have we become? What are we now creating in our own homes under our own roofs?

I blame MTV mostly. They seem to glorify materialism and selfishness on shows like Sweet 16, and then there's those shows like Temptation Island where they tempt perfectly happy couples to cheat on each other, but then again those couples sign up to do it, so I guess it's their own fault. Either way, it's still disgusting. And a little side note, did you know there are actually books written on how to cheat and get away with it? WTF?!?! I weep for the future.

It's too easy to blame parenting or the media, but remember this kind of behavior and disrespect of women goes back as far as written history itself. Perhaps it'd be more responsible to put the blame where it belongs, on the individual and the mantality that goes along with it;^]

you can have my x but i kill you if you take my dogs lol there (a 10 year old husky, 3 year old heeler mix, and a 1 year old border collie mix)
i can go to bed alone but wake up with a cold nose and all the lov them can give my heeler doesnt do laundry yet but sleeps with my clothes

I agree ya Eddie. Seems like it all comes down to way your raised and how tight a rein parents kept on ya. I am a very respectful man, I do the same , open doors and stand when a lady enters the room. It's the good ole values that have been lost by the youth of this country. TV, and so called music, This world has changed alot in our lifetime, I question if it's better. My Son is 11 and knows the old ways and practices them. He knows how to be a gentleman. These things are taught by example. I am involved with a LADY on this site and plan to meet her in 1 week and 3 days. She talked to my son on the phone yesterday and was impressed by the way he talked to her, he called her "Miss Laura" , said yes mam and no mam and thank you. Just common manners that many don't have anymore.

We can make a change in this world, one child at a time, maybe ,, just maybe ladies in the future could meet what few young men are being raised this way today. Old Values,, simple
