Creation I never once stated that they should just suck it up. Im sorry that you miss read my posts. I understand the pain people go through. My ex wife was Bipolar and it had its days. I left her for other reasons than the illness. As for the medicine I mentioned I used it as a reference that there are options to help one. Unfortunatly there is no magic pill to take away the feelings.

I have bipolar depression. Every day is a living hell.
If every day is hell.. then you are a different sort of bipolar then I've had experience with. That sounds more like chronic depression.

In so far as the topic at hand.. Acceptance of whatever my situation is the key. I've been in both better and worse situations than I am experiencing right now.. Even though I was in better... I remember feeling worse, and vice versa.

Which leads me to believe... How I feel is more a choice rather than an effect.

I didn't misread your post. It was poorly written and you "imply" that how a bi polar person feels is up to them. You should choose your words more carefully, and not generalize people like you did when you said,

"If every day is hell.. then you are a different sort of bipolar then I've had experience with. That sounds more like chronic depression."

Sure sounds like a diagnosis and uncaring. Every bi polar person is different and although they have similar symptoms, no two are exactly alike, so yes, everday can be a living hell, and you came back with very inconsiderate comments.

So I think you owe MB an apology for being inconsiderate of his plight.......I also have MI, but have been dealing with this for over 25 years, so I know my meds, and a lot about it. You don't have to work as a pharmacologist to know. All you have to do is a little google and have a bit of real life expirience and live it!

I'm glad that you are handeling your situation well, and that you are dealing with it. Merry X-mas.flowerforyou

You are correct. I should have been more clear.

These are two separate subjects..
One being the difference in Bi-polar and chronic Depression.. and what I have noticed in my experiences with them.

The other in how I see my life. The choices I have available.

I apologize for the misunderstanding.
