If its a free to read and send site why every time i try to read a message a pop up blocks me, you did not say its free if you get past my blick?

If its a free to read and send site why every time i try to read a message a pop up blocks me, you did not say its free if you get past my blick? Free messaging does not mean a receiver must accept a message from a user if that receiver has a filter which blocks messages from certain users.
