Lol, no worries, I'm pretty sure most of us have embarrassed ourselves at one time or another.

The forums are a good place to practice and get a few tips. With the social distancing thing going on, it might be a while before any of us go on a face to face date.

Have fun mingling.

Chuckles. Don't worry about it, it's awkward and at times seriously strange for most of us. Most of the time it feels like you are talking to a wall, because there is no real connection due to not being able to see the other person.

Whatever you do, just be yourself.

May I suggest to change your main profile photo? Choose a photo that shows your face clearly. You can post all your fish photos in your profile and if fishing is one of your interests, put fishing as an interest.

Then go to Advanced Search and search for women who are also interested in fishing, not many are, but the women who like fishing could be a match for you. Then ice breaking is easy by saying "I love fishing too!"

Best wishes, duane happy
