You reached across the space between us
Held my hand, for what seemed an eternity
Everything that confused and befuddled me
Now made sense and seemed logical
And when we parted it seemed so strange
The world so empty cold and gray
You, the man, not a foolish adrenaline thug
A man,firm yet yielding to the touch
Calming yet wild enough to make me blush
And I knew when I looked into your eyes
That I wouldn't have to ask a second time
That my wish would become your desire
And my desire would become your wish
Time would stop, and the world would cease to exist
It would only be you and I, in this moments breath in time
And I knew then at that moment that this one
Is a 1 chance in a lifetime,not a once in awhile
