Step up to the bar - put the girl down
She takes a big gulp and slaps it around
Take a sip - you can do it - you get right to it
We had a case in the place and we went right through it
You got a dry Martini - thinking you're cool
I'll take your place at the bar - I smack you off your stool

SWEDISH JULOTTA SERVICE CHRISTMAS MORNING

Julotta Service - 135 Year Tradition at Broadway Church (formally The FIRST SWEDISH BAPTIST CHURCH)

Broadway at 39th Street, Kansas City, MO. Tele: 816 561-3274

Julotta is the traditional Swedish Christmas pre-dawn candlelight service at 6 a.m. on December 25. This celebration of Christ's birth begins with two white-robed girls each crowned with a wreath of lighted candles entering the darkened sanctuary to set ablaze the 1809 candles in the red wooden candleholders made years ago by one of the fellowship's Swedish carpenters.
The service consists of songs and scripture in both Sedish and English with a short talk by Rev. Paul Smith. after the service, coffee and Swedish coffee bread are served in the Fellowship Hall. Many people of Swedish heritage throughout the Greater Kansas City area attend this service. Please come and join us.
