Ahhh... I did not quote verses my friend... you did... I judged no one... I merely asked you to interpret the meaning behind YOUR post and clarify...

We all speak of that which lives within us...

Oh my... what's going on Kalamazoo?

Uhhh... go back...

read...

and interpret lines 3 and 4 for me ...will ya?

Where it says love is not rude or self-seeking, and then where it keeps no record of wrongs... clarify how that appliesto your most recent of approaches... if you can...er...would,I mean...

flowerforyou

'My most recent approachs', like a backhanded, judemental statement? Hmm seems words are rather deep and times, interpret i see nothing of =), care to explain Creative

Kal, I believe God has one of THE best senses of humor! If God did not have a sense of humor, mankind would have bit the dust a long, long time ago. Thankfully, I think he/she chose to recycle instead. Otherwise, my little irreverent butt would not be where it is at this precise drop in the bucket of time.

Oh for sure i like a good joke like any other man, but somtimes we cross the line. I came accross somthing that frankly made me LOL all up and down the stairs, "let the bodies hit the floor" made like a Benny Hin Music Video, helarious, was i in the wrong for laughing? Intentions behind the Joke, makes it funny or not you know? I can joke about Racism but if im really racist, is it really a joke =)

If the message of the thread is LOVE is the word of God, how can this be negative?

Thats it Go and spread the word.

Happens to be a Agnostic man, who enjoys bashing Christians.. unless he claimed his salvation while i was away, dont i have the right to assume? =) This cannot be a genuine topic about God Loving. Notice the majority of the posters? Agnostics and Atheists. I cannot take this Post as genuine, based on past histroy and what i am seeing now, However i have noticed you to be rather neutral, from my perspecitve.

Oh Kal, please pull back and think about that last statement. If Agnostic's and Atheists started the threads, what does that say regarding your motivation/purpose for reading them and choosing to post knowing these people give you a negative feeling?

well, lets take it a step further back... Agnostic and Atheists, in religions fourm, posting Religion bashing comments? Ironic? ahh, i believe you can at least see that these posts are not about "God loving". im sorry i cannot agree with that

Perhaps this could be seen as that which he possibly can relate to without touching on the aspects of your religion that he cannot. Is common ground that unlikely? Is every thread a reflection of every previous thread a poster has stated his opinion or argument in? Are the topics of the threads in question absolutely synonymous? I willingly agree you have every right to your opinion.

I feel it is necessary to repost this:

6/13/2007: The beauty of the Pagan/Earth based religion is an individual person learning is given the option to accept what is right for that individual. If your style of co-creation is different from the one who taught you, use what works best for you has always been encouraged. Some stick with one Name for the god/goddess they are requesting to co-create with. Some use other Names depending on what it is they are trying to co-create. The individual also has the option of joining a
Coven, usually a group of like-minded Pagans. This style from what I understand has the high priest and/or priestess emulating whichever God/ess is requested to help. Co-creation and co-existence is the heart of the Pagan religion IMHO with the understanding of what you put out will come back to you depending on which particular way followed depends
on the returned amount, usually in 3's. They may also call on spiritual elements of the Universe and request they lend energy to the co-creation. No, I have not learned this by any individual or group teaching. I have read and learned from many different sources/written material. Now in my own personal dealings, sometimes I use the word God, sometimes I use Universe, sometimes I use Creator or Great Mystery.
I freely admit my spirituality is based on a hodge podge of ideas. Some are Native American, some are Druidic, some are Wiccan, some are Jesus style. Throw in the different energies contained in this Universe and me, I then must add some aspects of Eastern and East Indian based religions. The Medicine Wheel is something I also use. The purpose of this is for my own tracking of my way around that wheel, as life is a
circular cycle. This is when I usually use directions more than
anything else. Those directions are based on what part of me I need to work on. This way I can combine spirituality with psychology. May not be for everybody, but hey, "I am who I am." Guess you could call it a "Popeye" religion. The similarities are pretty much what I am drawn to.
The Native ways I've been exposed to believe (Lakota and Seneca
mostly)humanity and all that is in this world are relatives (not Gods). Including the earth and sky nation and everything contained therein.
Now you know why I consider myself a Differentkindofwench.

Ahemmmm........these posters are as good as it gets my friend. Athiest, agnostics...so whats your point? I have learned soooo much from those you see.

Look around man. Can you not as a believer of God; see the God in them? Doesn't matter what they see or do not see from our eyes.

I see God- like behavior in most of these beautiful people. The love, the genuine care, the honesty, Lovers of life.

I see more in these people than I do in many religious followers.

Just my take, you see? I believe in God. I see God in all things good.

For yzrabbit:

Print: Fabian - Turn Me Loose Lyrics print version

Turn me loose, turn me loose I say
This is the first time I have felt this way
Gonna get a thousand kicks or kiss a thousand chicks
So turn me loose

Turn me loose, turn me loose I say
Gonna rock'n'roll long as the band's gonna play
Gonna holler, gonna shout, gonna knock myself right out
So turn me loose (turn me loose, ooh-ahh)

I've got some change in my pocket and I'm rarin' to go
Takin' some chick-a to the picture show
And when I see her home and we kiss goodnight
Well, turn me loose, turn me loose, turn me loose, turn me loose

Turn me loose, turn me loose I say
Yes, today is gonna, is gonna be the day
I want you all to understand, now I am a man
So turn me loose (turn me loose, ooh-ahh)

I've got some change in my pocket and I'm rarin' to go
Takin' some chick-a to the picture show
And when I see her home and we kiss goodnight
Well, turn me loose, turn me loose, turn me loose, turn me loose

Turn me loose, turn me loose I say
Yes, today is gonna, is gonna be the day
I want you all to understand, now I am a man
So turn me loose (turn me loose, ooh-ahh)

Go ahead on with your badself Rabbit!!

I would beg to differ with you. I have never see the man bash a Christian.

What he does is question ancient religious doctrines. That is not bashing anyone.

As far as I've seen the man has been exceedingly polite to everyone.

If you are going to go through life claiming that everyone who questions ancient religious doctrines is "Bashing Christians" you're going to be in for one hell of a bumpy ride. ohwell

Unless you wrote the Bible I think you would do well to quit trying to be its defender.

If you have a belief, that's fine. But to ask people not to question ancient doctrines just to protect your own personal bubble is asking quite a lot I think.

I'm a physicist, and people question quantum mechanics all the time. I guarantee you that I don't take it personally. bigsmile

To Kalamazoo I will concede one point I should not have used the word "God" Like DKW I use that to mean many different things it is just easier point of reference here.

Now as to why I posted this. This may seem strange but I have pondered on this "love" Idea for more then 10 years. It is only because of Red that I get to test it out somewhere. I would always ponder what would a supreme being try to tell us. I believe that this supreme being has set up the earth and lets it run. So if he put in a message, it would have to be in the beginning and survived too today. So I figured it must be short or it would get messed up like that telephone game. So I have rolled this over many times and I am confident in this message from the supreme power Love
