I don't get hit on much in real life because I go to work and I am quite a homebody. The population in my town is 50,000. On Mingle2, yep. But hey, it is a dating site. I never message men first, but I have a steady stream to block. What tires me is the unoriginality of their first messages. True gems are nice and I have made some nice male friends? Same here, other than work and grocery shopping, I'm pretty much a homebody. I gathered the OP was talking about here, and yes it gets a little tiresome, mostly because I know none of them are genuine or seriously have a desire to meet me. Aside from a couple male friends I have here, I delete or block quite a few daily. If a man or men genuinely showed interest... hit upon me, I doubt I would get ever get tired of it. I'd be flattered instead. |
