Laziness and 'proud stupidity' . What is proud stupidity? Brother Larsi and I, made the same first post. Just worded a little differently. Abusiveness and poor hygiene, are part of what I call 'proud stupidity'. It seems, that Brother Larsi and I, might have once married the same woman.

Mostly things that I don't feel are very masculine. Funny how I cannot think of a good example now, even though there are specific things. A guy being nervous, biting his nails because of it. Someone not having real self-esteem and confidence. When a man is 'weak', doesn't have a backbone A man who always goes into victim mode A guy who's a pleaser. Basically all these are signs he's not very masculine. And things that make me lose respect, and when that happens it's over. Also poor body hygiene and self-care. Crystal, I notice three of your examples are men who are classified as "nice"; not the type that many women prefer other than just friends and nothing deeper. |

Well it would be him drinking too much and being verbally abusive. If he puts people down including me, he isn't for me. |

When I see how messy he is.

When I find he is a smoker. I meet a guy I like and meet again later on another day. I have a lot of trouble with cigarette smoke. I feel that I can't breathe.

They got very self centered, and acidic.

When they lie to you. Then they tell you to deal with it. That is just plain disrespectful. I am sorry you had to deal with that type of person

When I see how messy he is. Lol, A man gave me a ride home from a friend's. He was trying so hard to flirt with me. All I could think was "Yuk, when was the last time you cleaned your truck". Last century, I think.🤮 Some people don't notice their flaws, probably me as well.

A wise old woman once said to me..."You need to Summer and Winter with someone, before you know then". I have always remembered her good advice
