Most of my friends have told me I am weird for being innocent and they want to "corrupt" me. I was raised to be old-fashioned; I have very strong morals. How do I tell them it's my choice on whatever I do?

"We can control ONE person in this world...that is OURSELVES!" "I'm not stupid, just not as maybe "street wise" as you all are..but I CAN take care of myself." "So If you are REALLy my FRIEND you won't try to pressure me into something I am not comfortable with."

That should work...if they are really your friend.

It's not that it is weird to be innocent it is just getting to be very uncommon in today's society.

If it is somehting you feel strongly about just let your friends know that this is who you are and it is not going to change. I have had friends try to corrupt other friends (I have tried corrupting some as well). For us the most common reason we pushed was not because they had strong moral objections, it was just that they were scared, so we pushed to help them overcome their fears (A little corruption is usually a good thing for most).

So if you have good reasons for wanting to stay innocent explain them and your friends should back off, if they don't after you have explained everything... take a step back and try to see why they are really pushing it... maybe they have a point you havent noticed or maybe they just don't see your point. either way being open and honest is the only way to stop them from pushing you, that or giving in and being corrupted but the latter doesnt seem to fit you.

World is too big. We should not put into small box.

Nothing called true in the world.

We can't live as per others desire.

call me perverse but....

Its hard to walk through life with a a huge black magic marker and just walk past an empty blank canvas and not stop and want to mark it

but stay pure... its your choice and just as right as my choice to be so dark and perverse.

People who think you're weird and want to "corrupt" you, or change you in any way contrary to your nature, are not your friends.
