You all know that I had previously asked for prayers for my sister when she had her mammogram? And they found something there? They are still going to do another one to look deeper. Well, her Dr. called her today and said she had to have another ultrasound for her ovaries. They found a " large complex cyst ". All I find on it is in the ovarian cancer category. I am SCARED! So is she. It is also closely related to breast cancer.
On top of that; she got a letter today from her insurance company that it is an pre-existing condition!!! No way! She has never been treated for this before. She had a cyst once before and cervical cancer, but not this!
From what I read; it says that all women when ovulating have a cyst. It just goes away when you have your menses.

Sending prayers and best wishes to you and your sister. Do whatever tests the doctor wants to rule out whatever they need to. And fight that lousy insurance company, go through your state's insurance commissioner's office if you have to. They just don't want to pay, but fight them. Good luck.

Cute: the cysts are not regular cysts. They are called large complex ovarian cysts. Complex cysts are cysts that are solid or evasive, such as debris filled. Meaning much more dangerous in nature.
She has had regular cysts before. Medication dried them up. Except for one which was removed. The size of a grapefruit.
I am already preparing to communicate with one that can make enough noise if need be, to possibly get voices out there against this insurance company, if they refuse her treatment.
What the hell do we pay them for, if it isn't to help us!??
I am so upset with them.
