WTF?!? A guy on here initiates contact with ME, writes to me, I write back, and he proceeds to inundate my online in-bin with novel-quality love letters for weeks. THEN, as suddenly as he appears, he DISAPPEARS...without a trace (and for no logical reason whatsoever)! I keep thinking about that old movie, 'An Affair to Remember'. Anyone in the Chicagoland area hear of a 32 year-old guy run over by a taxi recently?

I hate to say this but get use to it. It happens a lot. Just be thankfull. They probably are not worth your time.

Maybe his pc crashed? Best excuse I ever got (which turned out to be a lie)...got thrown in jail for a fight and drunk/disorderly. He was on the way to meet up with me. Let us know what his 'reasons' are, would you?  M

I highly doubt that I will hear from him/her/it again. Probably a married loser that got busted by his old lady, or some bored kid messing around.
