WTF?!? A guy on here initiates contact with ME, writes to me, I write back, and he proceeds to inundate my online in-bin with novel-quality love letters for weeks. THEN, as suddenly as he appears, he DISAPPEARS...without a trace (and for no logical reason whatsoever)! I keep thinking about that old movie, 'An Affair to Remember'. Anyone in the Chicagoland area hear of a 32 year-old guy run over by a taxi recently?

He may have not been the person he made himself out to be...perhaps he is married...maybe found someone else to occupy his time with...Internet world is crazy!

Did you e-mail him asking why he was M.I.A all of the sudden?

In fact, after a few days of dead silence after weeks of romance novels, I did write to see what was up; no response. Now THAT is bizarre!

I hate to say this but get use to it. It happens a lot. Just be thankfull. They probably are not worth your time.

I might do a dutch auction with the letters on eBay. Maybe some other uninspired dolt can scratch out the identifying information and use them on his wife/girlfriend/boyfriend/concubine/whatever......

That is pretty crazy ey?! Did you guys meet, or was it just an online type of thing? I can only assume, and I know I shouldn't assume...but what the hell...either he was married and his wife found out about it and there goes the account...or he found someone else to write all those novels to...I have noticed that people like to decieve...pretty sad...I agree with Justme, he probably is not worth the time worrying about what happened...

Ohhhh, a pedi and some Starbucks? Count me in.

Maybe his pc crashed?

Best excuse I ever got (which turned out to be a lie)...got thrown in jail for a fight and drunk/disorderly. He was on the way to meet up with me. Let us know what his 'reasons' are, would you?

I highly doubt that I will hear from him/her/it again. Probably a married loser that got busted by his old lady, or some bored kid messing around.

Doubt nothing!

Heard from a guy that I was seeing over the summer this past week. After over 3 months of communication, he came out of the woodwork.

Maybe he was a scammer.
