Yeah I wonder sometimes too. Manners are one of many good reasons that someone may not continue to chat with another person. It's all in the WAY things are said. All this "Oh, s/he said that, but really means this" just makes manners in our words that much harder.
I know this may sound like I'm one of those on the other side, but don't we all end up there one point in our lives, if not at least once?:
I have been emailing a good person on this sight. He initiated the thread. I replied, and we continued to the point of IMing. He was so concerned about himself, and he was asking all these odd (to say the least) questions. I pointed it out to him, and he said he'll try and stop it. In the very next IM session, he did his usual, so I just stopped talking to him.
I know it was not good manners from me, but what could I do, he refused to listen to me at all. So, even though I have been on the other side, this one time, I am still curious myself.

Hope this helps YOUR CURIOSITY.

I guess but not a whole lot.

I mean that was your right to stop talking to him since he wasn't listening to you or taking your advice.

Mark_61701 I am starting to agree with what you had said.

I mean I'll be up fort and honest, I'd never been in any type of long relationship and I'm willing to learn.

Unless your going to hold a one day or so type of thing with one of my sister's girl friends other then that, I never truely have been out on a date or with a girl. Since I never found any girl / woman to go out with or would go out with me etc.

Oh well. I guess it's how life is supposed to be for me that is.

I've been on other dating sites even paid for one and talked to a girl on the phone but I quit that cause she got kinda boring some what fast and some other girls I'd talked to lead to noting.

Crazy but true.

The thing I like about MM is it gives me the opportunity to see LOADS of the most totally godawful excuses for profiles I've ever seen. It's a lot easier to look at them in sequence like that, rather than have to go look for them individually one by one.

I don't e-mail hardly anyone any more. I, like most of you, have been ignored or abandonded too many times.
