We're living in a time that has lots of discontent happening across the planet. This has been come to known as the "Culture War". Bureaucracies either religious or governmental becoming corrupt, feminist (which are the female version of nihilists) destroying the arts alone with everything they get their hands on, religious zealots murdering thousands every year and the list goes on and on.
People claim they have no religion anymore. What you believe is true or know to be true is what religion is. So a person saying the aforementioned is saying they believe nothing which is still a belief in something which is nothing. Seen lots of people trying to tear down others for not believing as they do. This to me is just pissing into the void.
I have my own pragmatic belief. I was going to list it all but no one really wants a wall of text to read. The one thing that is the major point is destiny. Destiny to me is your choices and action. Good, bad or indifferent they are yours to make. Taking responsibility for them allows you to be successful by giving yourself the option of improving. The better you become at making choices and taking action on those choice will allow you to be more then you were yesterday and tomorrow more still.
So my advice is to focus on your choices and actions for yourself. Don't worry on what someone else tells you to believe in. Believe as you will. and remember actions have consequences which you need to accept.
