why is facebook so popular? what's the appeal?

Networking for college students. Best was to let everybody know where to meet, what parties are going on, and to keep in touch with high school friends after graduation. Myspace just doesn't offer what facebook does to us college students.

It's a safer site than myspace.com, which has continual problems.

its actually for college and jobss. My family (including my mom) communicates on it. Facebook is just a have fun...right now I'm answering trivia questions about NCIS on it...but it has random stuff thats easy to get to...site. Myspace is safe if you're safe...my mom is even building a site for our church on it. the sites are just an easy way to keep up to date with people...and to up date people with out having to call all your friends. The lazy mans way out...or like me in the summer...working 80 hours a week and thats the only way I can keep up to date with everyone (If I even have time to do that ;) )
