No matter how hard I try,
To run away from you,
All paths of my life,
Lead me back to you..

I try not to talk,
I try to ignore you,
But the heart has its own will,
And it wants only you..

Why I feel so lost and confused,
Why I feel this urge to merge with you,
Why I lose control,
Even if I just think of you..

Why am I so scared,
To get close to you,
Why I want you so much and yet,
Try my best to stay away from you..

Is this just craziness,
Or a battle between heart and mind,
Against you...For you,
Or maybe I am just a lost soul,
Whose destiny is joined with you..

My Silence

There's a storm raging within,
A million thoughts on my mind,
Yet I sit across from you,
Sipping coffee as if everything is fine..

I feel the darkness surrounding me,
Like the emotions I feel,
How do I control my dark thoughts,
They are now starting to give me a guilt..

If only you knew,
The thoughts that race in my mind,
As soon as I see you each day,
Would you accept them with an open heart,
Or just stand up and walk away..

My voice is lost,
The words don't form,
I keep quiet,
And my desire,
Is now slowly turning into,
A lifeless stone..

You look at me with a smile,
In complete denial,
Why are you testing my patience,
We talk nonstop,
Each time we meet in person,
..But have you ever heard my silence..
