John...I understand what you are experiencing...very often, i feel like the chef special of the day at a buffet...the site does not send members to view your profile...unfortunately your profile can be viewed by others (as Cat says above)...however, you do not have to click on "who viewed me" and if you do, there is a select all option and a delete all selected button...so two clicks can wipe out the lot for a while...however, most if not all are usually deleted by the system after a short time...

In the meantime, try the search feature here and see if there are suitable members near you...
