Trust for Love

The fault of life is trust,
For trust is in the heart.
To gain my trust is easy,
To lose it easier.
When my trust is lost,
It is lost forever.
Hurt has done this to my trust,
For my heart cannot forget,
Forget the hurt it has felt from trust.
Still I trust.
To find love,
Trust is the beginning of love.
Love is the feeling my soul cannot forget.
It is the feeling both my heart and soul have found.
So trust,
Hurt.
Just for the chance to feel love.
