I am finding the african american are a racist bunch of people expecting
more than they deserve.
Recently my child has been experiencing racism\. makes me wanna start
trouble. I am so sick and tired of being disrespected because I am
white.
How can a caucasion fight racism. It is obvious we have become the
minority in this world.

YAH. In this country you can only hate someone if they are white.
Disagree with anyone of other race and you are a racist. I have a black
family next to me... the only one in town here. I get four kinds of
calls from them:
1. can i borrow some money?
2. can I get a ride?
3. can i borrow some food?
4. where are the drugs in town?
When i talked to them on this I was labeled a racist. Its just a crutch
they use to divert attention away from thier own shortcommings. Kinda
like shooting the messanger.

Look.....both of you stereotyping idiots need to understand one fact
before you make assumptions:

REAL racism was created by WHITE people against mostly black people.
The blacks who were at the forefront of racism rebelled and caused a
backlash over the years that "certain" people can't handle. Racism is
not justified by either culture side and I recognize that there are some
ignorant ass people from BOTH sides. Put it this way, I live in the
suburbs by choice......I choose not to live near ignorant black people
and I choose not to live by ignorant ,racist, "rednecks" either. When I
was 8 years old, my parents bought a very nice home in an "ALL-White"
subdivision. The residents of the area were having town meetings to
find a way to keep us from moving in. The first step was to spray some
punkass NAZI shit on the house and fence.....my parents had it removed,
next step---toss dead animals in the in-ground pool......they were
removed as well........the final limit-----burn the house down. It was
repaired, we moved in. We were heckled, harrassed, called names.....I
switched school districts and I was among 8 other black students within
the entire school system. I stayed in fights, my grades slipped, not
because I was a poor student, but because my teachers were bigots, a few
were klan members and some would lie and say I never turned in my
assignments and all kinds of bullshit to try to keep me down.....as you
can see, it didn't work very well. It made me stronger. One thing to
keep in mind, 98% of the students were white and at least 90% of them
were poor, farmers, parents did odd jobs like plumbing or shoveling shit
from barns or simply sit at home bums. THEY would ask to borrow money
from me, THEY wanted to come by out house for parties, THEY wanted
rides to dances or to the store and even to school, THEY wanted to try
to identify with the black culture.....not the "nigger" way of thinking.
Further more......THEY realized that ALL BLACK people dont:

1. can i borrow some money?
2. can I get a ride?
3. can i borrow some food?
4. where are the drugs in town?

By the way, I meant OUR HOUSE for parties.

Im not racist, i just judge people by thier actions, not thier color.
Guess what.. blacks can be racists too. MY NEIGHBORS ARE DEFINETLY
RACIST. Has nothing to do with thier color. I wasent the one who was
prejudice against your family, dont convict me for something someone
else did.

I was raised in an all white town, all but one family of African
American. They had one daughter who was in my grade. She was quiet,
sweet, and our Senior Queen at Prom.

I got a culture shock when I went to the military. I meet a very diverse
set of people. I was not used to being around them in a social venue. I
sat back and watched, and slowly got used to how they all talked, acted,
wanted to be treated.

I found out that the African American girls I came across in the
military did not like being called colored. Almost got jumped and beat
up for that. But once they learned where I grew up and how I grew up,
they just educated me and we became fast friends.

I think racism is in how your raised. If your brought up with all the
sterio typing thats how your going to see things when your off in the
world by yourself. I think we need to educate our children that everyone
is the same, were just wearing different colored skin.

thanks tneal. I dont agree hat we are the same though. iTS THE DIVERSITY
OF CULTURES that makes us a strong country. different but equal mabe
thats a better way of saying it. There are differences, physical as well
as culturally. not to recognise that is to ignore the plain truth. JUST
LIKE THE WOMENS LIBBERS USED TO SAY HOW MEN AND WOMEN ARE THE SAME..
CMON. Next time you get a person of the opposite sex naked, compare
notes with them. physically and mentally men and women are different.
Working together we compliment each other.Each has strengths and
weaknesses . accept it and move on i say to those who still think that

I hear ya Solow..My Brother in law is black ( I like him much better
than I like my sister lol). He grew up in the Cass Corridor in Detroit.
One of his brothers killed another of his brothers in a bar fight. He
didn't get much of an education from the school system, so he dragged
his ass outta there and got an education on his own. He always worked,
and when he got laid off, he made it up by doing ANY odd job he could.
He's a mechanic, a roofer, an electrician, a carpenter/cabinet maker.
With the exception of underwear and socks, he makes his own clothes.
They have a nice home in a nice middle class neighbourhood and my nephew
is now a corporate lawyer. The funny part is, where I live, the only
mooches are white!!!

Not convicting you for ANYTHING. I'm simply saying some blacks have
been conditioned by history to feel the way they do. You don't know
what their pasts consisted of.... just like I have no idea about you and
your opinions. I certainly blame plenty of my fellow black people for
creating so many negative images of blacks in general......I also fault
the media for displaying mostly negative aspects of black
society.....they hardly ever show anything positive about blacks unless
it's entertainment or sports related. All I'm saying is
this......racism exists on both sides and we have to deal with it.

solow.. very nicely put. My neighbors are a good example of what you are
saying. They moved in to an all white town, lots of rednecks. Like it or
not in many ways they represent blacks to the village here. When they
act the way they do, it just confirms what everyone already thinks. sad
truth that.

The only reason I was ranting is because my kid is being insulted daily
by blacks for acting like everyone else. She wanted to join the dance
team at school. There is not one non-black person chosen for the dance
team. I know daughter has rythem. She is a disc jockey's daughter. I
play all kinds of music. my daughter won first place last yr for
crumping. I know it is a racist teacher picking the student because i
saw those chosen and most have no rythme.
I do not care who started discrimination, it is not a justified excuse
in todays world. Someone else said in this discussion ...I was not the
one who started it and I am not the one who practices it. The quote
minorities again who are not minorities anymore will not let go...
And by the way whites were slaves before blacks they were just called
endentured servents.
The world is not fair and this unfairness will cause another cival war

in every latino country.
expecialy Mexico, they say there are no blacks in Mexico, Im talking
about latino of black skin, and not only Mexico the Dominican Republic,
